Because the guy who spent all this time painting eggs and egg yolks and making different scenarios about how they are terrified of being eaten cannot be too normal. I mean, one or two times are fun, but, this looks a bit too much.
I mean, look at this picture: http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4102/yes06.92/0_1b637_a837a24a_XL.jpg That is not a refrigerator of a normal person. (Especially a Russian one. Why are they all smiling?)
I suppose if the author is a woman and/or artist, that would be understandable.
Of course women and artists are not normal. Hello? But, they are not normal in a non-disturbing way. I.e., it’s their derech to be that way, and we have to live with it and love them for it.
So, a woman painting smiley faces on grapes is ok. An artist doing the same thing is also ok, especially if he can trick someone to pay him for that. But, say, a middle-aged, slightly overweight, balding clerk of male persuasion doing that is probably a closet something or other.
a) the author of the t-shirt design is not Russian. A Russian would have a better sense of style and coloring and in general, would say something else.
b) the t-shirt makes no sense. As everyone knows, there was no sex in the Soviet Union. http://www.ivorytowerz.com/2009/02/there-is-no-sex-in-soviet-union.html
(The story is a little dishonest, because what really happened was that there was a “media-bridge” between the US and USSR. Some concerned people from the US side complained that there is too much past-nisht stuff on US television. And they asked if there was such a problem in the Soviet Union. The woman wanted to say: “There is no sex in the Soviet Union on television”, but before she could finish the sentence, everyone on both sides burst out laughing.)

Do Russians (in Russia, or elsewhere) drink Smirnoff?
Possibly. Although from what I understand it’s recognized as a low-quality drink.
Is this an academic or a person question?
I noticed a bottle of it in one of the pics and I got to wondering.
Where?
Actually, the pictures are somewhat disturbing.
In one of the pics on one of the sites.
Why?
Which one?

How should I know? You want me to go back and look through every single one?
So women and artists are not normal?
Do you have something better to do?

Yes.
You're very generous.
Perhaps the artist is Russian- that would explain everything.
That wouldn’t explain why the faces are smiling.
Of course it would!

What would a Russian say?

In my experience of Russians (limited to the Jewish variety, to be certain), the kiss is just as freely granted as the hug.
My sister and her husband drew faces on oranges and gave them as shalach manos.
Are they newlywed?
but of course
